Delete inside the App
Open Profile → Account → Delete account and cloud data. Review the warning, confirm the request, and complete any recent sign-in check required by Firebase.
If you cannot open the App
Email bookwinn@gmail.com from the email address associated with the account. Use the subject “Bible Study Verse account deletion.” We may ask for a limited verification step, but we will never ask for your password.
Confirmation
After verification, the account and associated deletable cloud data are queued for removal. We will confirm completion by email when the request was submitted through support.
Data included in deletion
- Firebase Authentication account and sign-in identifiers;
- the private Firestore document containing limited settings and encrypted personal-backup ciphertext;
- notes, highlights, bookmarks, saved reflections, reading history, and plan progress contained inside that encrypted backup.
Data that may remain temporarily
Limited security, fraud-prevention, audit, and backup records may remain only for the period required by law or routine backup rotation. These records are not used to restore the deleted account.
Local device data
In-app account deletion also clears Bible Study Verse data on that device. We cannot remotely erase local-only data from another offline or inaccessible device; use Delete all local data there, clear the App's storage, or uninstall it.
